Mayor Frank "Buster" Duke
The current Mayor is Buster Duke. Born in Sylacauga, Alabama and moved to Jackson County in 1974. He has been married to his wife, Janice for 46 years and they have 2 daughters and 2 grandsons. After working for 31 years for TVA, he retired in 2005. He is actively involved and a member of the Scottsboro - Jackson County Rescue Squad, Jackson County Shrine Club, a 32 degree Mason and Shriner of Cahaba Shrine Temple in Huntsville. Buster and his wife are members of Trinity Baptist Church.
Buster served on the Hollywood City Council from 2004 -2008.
As Mayor, Buster is committed to giving back to his community. His goals are to make the Hollywood Police and Fire Departments the best in Jackson County. Implementing a full-time street department and promoting the Industrial Park. Additionally, he wants to support TVA-Bellefonte with the use of the Police and Fire Departments. He plans to work hard for the people of Hollywood for growth and making the best use of every person’s tax dollar!

Regularly scheduled council meetings will be on the first and third Tuesdays each month at 6:00p. If you have business to bring before the city council you must call 256-259-4845 and ask to be put on the agenda. Everyone is welcome to attend council meetings and we encourage your participation.
The Hollywood Fall Festival will be on Saturday September 27th at the Hollywood City Park on County Rd 33.
Every Friday and Saturday in October the Fire Department will be hosting "Terror in the Ridges" a haunted hay ride.
